Review: The Little Prince by Joann Sfar.Have you read Sylo? How would you rate it? We would like to thank Random House for providing a copy of Sylo for this review. Review written by Mark (6th grade student). So please try this book out I hope that you like Sylo because I really did! This story is generally geared toward kids ages 10 and up who like action and adventure type books. And the thing about this is that he made the story go by faster but he kept it together using details and transitions to the max. Another aspect that the author did well was to make an action packed, fast-paced story. When the author is relating a plan that Tucker and his friends are making, he uses so much description that the reader feels like he is part of the story, alive and breathing in the piece of writing. One of those things being its descriptiveness it uses a dictionary's worth of descriptive vocabulary. Overall I think book is a masterpiece of art, which blends all the elements of a great story together seamlessly. So Tucker, Tori, and Quinn start searching for the truth. THEY CAME FROM THE SKY, parachuting out of military helicopters to invade 14 year old Tucker Pierce’s idyllic hometown on Pemberwick Island, Maine. That is until a mysterious group of the U.S military shows up on the island and as people begin dying mysteriously, Tucker realizes that tomorrow may never come.

However, there might be obstacles that even these determined kids cannot surpass. But in the midst of all things seeming lost, there is always friendship and determination to get them through whatever task might come before them. Their limits are tested as these kids will be chased, questioned, in danger, and scared. Once this is discovered, the kids get even more suspicious. As they learn more, they discover the SYLO officers contacting their parents. All information will be theirs about SYLO, the mysterious Ruby, the victims of the virus, and who else is involved. Now, these kids will try to find out everything. The longer SYLO stays on the island, the more suspicious the inhabitants get. SYLO is a story about an island off the east coast of the United States of America where there is supposedly a virus that leaked out.Ī group of kids on the island tried to figure out what the virus is and why SYLO came.
